Two special limited edition releases set for December as band celebrates landmark milestones
‘Iron Maiden‘ have announced two special anniversary vinyl releases dropping in December, celebrating both the 40th anniversary of “Somewhere in Time” and the band’s 50th anniversary since their formation.

First up, “Somewhere in Time” will be reissued on December 4 on limited edition oxblood colour vinyl, featuring the 2015 audio remastering. A special Amazon variant will also be available, coming with an exclusive full sleeve poster.
Forty years since the release of ‘Iron Maiden’s’ multi-million selling sixth album, the appreciation and acclaim for its groundbreaking songs and production continues to grow. Featuring many songs the band have included in their live set in recent years, including “Wasted Years,” “Caught Somewhere in Time,” “Stranger in a Strange Land,” “Heaven Can Wait,” and the epic “Alexander the Great,” the album saw the band reach new heights around the world and set them up to become the biggest metal band on the planet.

On December 11, ‘Iron Maiden’ will release the 50th Anniversary Studio Album Collection, Part One: 1980-1992, a brand new vinyl box set of their first nine studio albums. The collection comes in a fully designed artwork box with an anniversary poster and will be available to order exclusively through Amazon outside the USA. The contents directly reflect the songs the band have been performing on their two-year “Run For Your Lives” tour.

The box set contains the following albums on coloured vinyl:

Killers – red vinyl
The Number Of The Beast – silver vinyl
Piece Of Mind – yellow vinyl
